Travel Photography Workshop (Atlanta metro area)
Next Class - usually only once a year

Learn the art of travel photography by visiting Atlanta as you've never seen it before!  Instructor Judy Pishnery will guide you via MARTA in recording the best of Atlanta - it's places, people, and uniqeness.  You will visit Atlanta landmarks, which could include stops at Centennial Park, the Varsity, the Fox Theatre, the Margaret Mitchell house, as well as a few surprises!  Play tourist in your backyard before you go on vacation!

Prerequisite:  Photo 101, Digital 101, or equivalent skills.

Photography in Provence - the south of France

Visual inspiration is provided by historic Roman structures, gothic Abbeys, feudal Chateaux, quaint villages and street markets, as well as beautiful French countrysides, farms, fields and vineyards. A true visual feast for the photographic artist as you explore the sites and cultural beauty of southern France

This is an incredible location with marvelous, diverse photographic opportunities for photographers. If you haven't visited and photographed in this area of France - it is a must, if you've been before - try it now with a photo group. Beautiful picturesque villages, markets, Roman ruins, monuments from the Middle-ages, natural springs and ochre cliffs, vineyards, olive orchards and more.

Class begins with an informal get-together, introductions and group dinner on
the first night @ 6pm.
Class ends on final day with final review and Q&A after breakfast.

A marvelous photographic feast; villages, ruins, markets, wild flamingoes, Roman architecture, sunlight, ochre cliffs, and more. Color photographers will marvel at the overwhelming burst of color and light at every turn; black and white photographers will marvel at the crisp light and contrast. Visits to Arles, the Pont du Gard, Luberon Mtns & villages of Roussillon, Gorde and the Senanque Abbey, the Carmargue & the village of Sts. Marie de la Mer - and many more picture perfect locations.

For all photographers with a good, basic knowledge of camera operation, exposure measurement and shooting techniques. Digital preferred.

UMBRIA - Italy & more - Italian Photo Inspiration.

From Medievil to Renaissance, from city to quaint village and picturesque countryside. Italy provides a wealth of visual inspiration that inspired the Renaissance masters like Da Vinci and Michelangelo and can now inspire you.

The region of Umbria in Italy holds vast photographic opportunities for the color and BW photographer. It is an area to savour for its rich history, delightful cuisine, wealth of art treasures, historic sites, shopping diversity and photographic inspiration.

Class begins with an informal get-together, introductions and group dinner on the first day.

This marvelous opportunity photograph the Tuscan & Umbria region of Italy with other photographers, gives you the chance to visually explore the beautiful villages and country, while delving into historic sites. This workshop will be based in the Tuscan and Umbria countryside. (actually locations vary each season.)
